Last night I boarded the Capital Metro number 3 bus, a around 9:45pm. I was on my way to HEB to do a light shopping load after a long, sunny day. Drowsy from swimming and school work, I took the first seat available after the person who occupied it disembarked, a few stops south of HEB. It was only after the bus started moving again that I noticed a purple Mead notebook splayed out like a butterfly on the floor below my feet. For whatever reason, I decided to put it in my backpack, instead of turning it in to the operator. I've left a couple important personal items on the bus, and it never seems to make it to the lost & found, anyway. So rather than having the maintenance crew toss it out at the end of the night, I suppose I took it upon myself to find the notebook's rightful owner.
And here we are. I've posted a truncated version of this story, along with a description and picture of the journal's cover and one inside page (seen below,) on both reddit and Craigslist.
I'll keep this blog updated with the developments, if there are any.
